(Vegan) Chocolate Protein Waffles with Plant Works Nutrition!

I've been adding this protein powder to so many recipes lately, FINALLY one is here on the blog! Wahooo! These are crunchy on the outside, fluffy in the middle- just how I like em! Hope you enjoy them too! PS ALWAYS make all the batter, and if you have extras just freeze the cooked waffles and pop in the toaster the next morning.

PIC inspiration by @whisksandwildflowers , ILY!!

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice, vanilla soy is really good in this)

1/2 cup oil

1 tsp of vanilla

1/3 cup of chocolate protein powder (Plant Works Nutrition)

Sprinkle of salt

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Mix the dry, add the wet and then spray a waffle pan with oil. This made a LOT of mini waffles! I had some, my sister had some, and we were able to freeze a few.

Topped with strawberries, PB, syrup and bananas.

Recommended toppings:

-Maple syrup mixed with powdered PB

-PB and coconut oil melted and granola

-Chocolate drizzle, cacao nibs

-Fruit and granola

-Yogurt and goji berries

-Anything sweet!!!

Big thank you to Plant Works nutrition for allowing me to do this! I was very excited to receive two bags of protein powder to use from them, and it has been going to good use!
